Hello, everyone! Yana is here with you today very excited to share my new project created an absolutely stunning Vintage Flowers and Lyrical Script sets. I wanted to make a holiday background with lots of large poinsettias. I didn’t have any on hand, so I decided I would use images from the Vintage Flowers stamp set and would stamp them in various shades of red.

I used Coral Berry, Ruby Red and Grapevine along with Jet Black ink colors to stamp the flowers on this background. For the leaves I went with traditional Frayed Leaf and Forest Glades. I had to do a little bit of masking, although I only had one flower mask, I did not mask the leaves. After  was done stamping my large flowers and all of the leaves I ended up having a few white spots on my background so I filled it in using smaller flowers and flower centers from the Vintage Flowers stamp set.

I used my favorite Lyrical Script stamp set and heat embossed a classic sentiment in gold embossing powder onto a strip of vellum. Using clear dots I adhered vellum onto one of the Ringstone Medallion Trims and foam mounted that onto my background, which was already adhered onto an A2 card base.

Even though I did not use poinsettias for my project I was still able to create a somewhat modern Holiday card. Have you tried using non-holiday images for your holiday projects? I’d love to see your projects in the comments.

Thank you so much for stopping by today, have fun creating!
