Here is what May says about Lotus stamp set:

“This set was inspired by the photo we took in South Korea. You can either use the outline images by themselves, or combine them with the solid images to get two distinct looks. Make endless arrangements with these unique floral stamps! ”

The first card is the most difficult and takes some time but it’s definitely worth it! I begun with outline images and stamped them with Moon Rock Crisp Dye Ink, then I used solid layer stamps with Evening Gray Crisp Dye Ink.DSC_9128web

After that has started the most interesting part: coloring with watercolor pencils. You can go with any other pencils you have. Use lighter colors first, adding more shades with a darker ones step by step.DSC_9129web

I colored one of the lotuses in blue color using Caribbean Crisp Dye Ink and Arctic Crisp Dye Ink to pop-up on a grey background. For the card base I used Real Gray cardstock. Sentiment is made with newest Beautiful Quotes stamp set and Jet Black Crisp Dye Ink.

For the second card I decided to use only  outline  layer with gold embossing on a vellum. Black and gold is always a perfect combination!

I made accents using little leaves from Persian Motifs stamp set and white pencil. For the sentiment I used Label Love stamp set with gold embossing and Jet Black cardstock.

The third card is the most colorful of three and the most simple and quick to do! DSC_9133web

I prepared two flowers and two stems using all layers for stamping. I used following colors of Crisp Dye Inks: Warm SunshineCaramel ToffeeDark Chocolate, Forest Glades, Frayed leaf.

Then I stamped and die cut a “Friend” word using Super Script stamp set and Super Script dies . I put them all together on a piece of brown Woodgrain Bark cardstock and adhered on a green card base using foam adhesive. DSC_9134web

As a final touch I chose enamel dots and glitter.

Hope you enjoyed today inspiration! Thanks!
