Hello, everyone! It’s Aga here and today I’d like to share with you a few simple cards I made using a great set called Simple Flowers.

This set includes simplified flowers and leaves in rounded shapes that allow you to create bold patterns. I love the simple, modern and a little whimsical look of it, perfect for lots of occasions! Here’s what I came up with today, to give you a few ideas of using these stamps.

My first card is clean, simple and monochromatic. I used here shades of blue (Ocean Waves, Dusk and Desert Night from the Altenew Crisp Dye Inks) to stamp my simple floral arrangement.

You can notice that I used a smaller circle stamp around a bigger one to create my own flower. Lots of possibilities with these images!

For my next card, I used images from the set to create a simple background. I chose to use here the following Altenew Crisp Dye Inks: Sapphire, Puffy Heart, Lavender Fields and Soft Lilac.

thank-you

I combined it with the “thank you” die from the Majestic Bloom die set but this card can easily be made for any occasion by changing up the sentiment or the colour combo.

I always love the idea of using non-holiday stamps to create holiday cards. For my last project I decided to use this set to create a Christmas card. I also chose to use non-traditional colours and I stamped the images using the following Altenew Crisp Dye Inks: Forest Glades, Evergreen, Puffy Heart and Volcano Lake to create a floral wreath.

To finish my card I used the Bold Alphabet die set to create the NOEL sentiment. I die cut the letters out of white cardstock and used the MISTI stamp positioning tool to repeat my design on the letters.

I hope you’ve enjoyed these examples and I hope I’ve inspired you to ink up this great set!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
