Hello Altenew friends! This is Virginia here! Have you joined the April Release Blog Hop yet? If not, it is not too late to join and start hopping! Isn’t the latest new release with Layering Dies and Card Kit amazing? Today I am sharing some stamping ideas with the New Day Card Kit.

No doubt we stampers love our stamps and dies, but when it comes to design paper, do we use them enough? Well, the new Card Kit definitely makes stamping a lot easier, exciting and fun! I am sharing a few samples so you will know what I mean.

Paper-weaving is a fun way to use multiple pieces of paper. I trimmed off three long strips of paper and started with a cris-cross and from there, I could easily create an interesting piece to complement my stamping.

I stamped a few butterflies with Cotton Candy Crisp Ink and Caribbean Crisp Dye Ink. The gold heart was made from the gold paper and the heart die that are both included in this kit. I also added a strip of patter paper as an accent .  These two “CONGRATULATIONS” cards are now ready for upcoming summer weddings. The stamped sentiment in Jet Black Crisp Dye Ink is perfect with the pattern paper, too!

Next, I stamped the solid floral images from the stamp set onto the black and white pattern paper. Aren’t they perfect together? I love the enamel dots and hearts from the New Day Card Kit. They are beautifully color-coordinated with the paper. This is a PLUS when you create multiples. The hearts in these two stamped cards are from the gold glitter tape: simply stick them to paper and make the die cut with the heart and star die!

The next batch are my absolute favorites. I adore the watercolor paper so much that I really want to showcase it. To keep the design clean and simple, I only stamped two butterflies for each card. I also added embellishments with two of the wood veneer frames that are also included in this kit.

Here is an overview of my 12 cards from this kit. I still have TONS of paper, gold glitter tape, wood veneer frames and embellishments left. The best thing is that the stamp set can be used with or without the kit.

This is my “interpretation” of this card kit. What’s yours? I hope that my 12 cards give you some inspiration about this amazing New Day Card Kit. I look forward to seeing your interpretation!  Thank you so much for stopping by!
