Hi friends,

Svitlana is here. Today I want to share yet another card made using only heat embossing and a bit of inking. To be honest only now I realized that I used only heat embossing in my previous post here on Altenew blog ;)

For my card I used very beautiful Winter Clouds Cardstock. I’m not sure of what exact color it is, but for me it looks very cool. Temperature wise.

To start off I created an A2 card base out of this cardstock. And then white embossed a floral design in the top part of it using stamps from Garden Treasure Stamp Set and Pure White Embossing Powder.

I also white embossed several images onto the same cardstock and die-cut them using the matching dies.

Then I slightly inked the top part of the panel using Soft Lilac Ink.

I white embossed a sentiment from Floral Frame Stamp Set set onto the card and foam mounted die-cut elements.

To finish off the card I added several dots here and there with white gel pen.

I’m glad that I decided to do ink blending onto a card base, it makes the foam mounted elements pop up more.

And I like the monochromatic look of the card as well.
