These images are so cute and I thought it would be fun to ink them up with some unexpected colors.
I picked three shades from each color family to multi-ink up each animal from Baby Zoo Stamp Set, giving it a nice gradient look.
Here are the ink colors that I used for each animal.
Giraffe: Soft Lilac, Lavender Fields, Midnight Violet
Elephant: Mountain Mist, Volcano Lake, Lagoon
Lion: Buttercream, Warm Sunshine, Caramel Toffee
I added a sentiment using the Halftone Smile Stamp Sets & Halftone Smile Die. I inked up the sentiment with Frosty PinK CrispInk and then added some Coral Berry Crisp Ink on the bottom for some depth.
For the background I blended distress inks onto watercolor cardstock along with a little bit of water flicks for interest.

Hello Everyone! It’s Aga here and today I’m sharing a simple card using two different stamp sets. I wanted to create some whimsical floral designs, so I decided to combine an elephant from the Baby Zoo stamp set with beautiful flowers from the Peony Bouquet set.
I went for one of my favourite colour combinations: green and purple and I used here the Altenew Crisp Dye Inks: Forest Glades, Jet Black, Midnight Violet, Deep Iris, Lavender Fields and Soft Lilac. First I stamped my elephant and then I created something like “fountain of flowers” :)
To finish my card, I simply added the thank you sentiment from the Majestic Bloom die set. As I didn’t have any cardstock in the right colour, I die cut the sentiment out of white cardstock and inked it up with Deep Iris ink pad.
Thank you for stopping by today and have a great rest of the week!
Hello, Altenew fans~ It’s Eunyoung here. Today I’m sharing my first scrapbook layout and process video. I created a dreamy feeling layout with Painted Butterflies stamp set and Baby Zoo stamp set . After I stamped the images of butterfly and elephant on white cardstock with Crisp dye inks, die cut the stamped images with each coordinating die set.
I love to use the silhouette of butterfly or animals for a layout. Because it gives me a special feeling. I can say it makes me a girl in fairy tale. :) So I can’t resist Painted Butterflies and Baby Zoo stamp set!! They are so lovely & perfect!!! Can you resist them?? I already know your answer. :)
This photo was taken by my friend when we went on an outing to Han River. I asked her to take my hands holding a flower. I’ve kept a diary since I was 13 years old and it’s been a big part of my daily life. Now scrapbooking is a new visible and colorful diary to me. I think ordinary moments turn into wonderful moments through the lense. :) It’s like a magic.
Maybe you are able to know my favorite colors or feelings from this layout. I like soft & bright color in my layouts, I usually create a simple page with one focal point that accents the photo. I stamped the butterfly images in three different colors of Crisp dye inks. ( Soft Lilac Crisp Dye Ink , Cotton Candy Crisp Dye Ink , Frosty Pink Crisp Dye Ink ) I used 5 Crisp dye inks on the images (including black colored butterfly silhouette and Caribbean Sky Crisp Dye Ink for an elephant image), but it is not too busy. It is because the colors are soft and light.
You can see the details through my step-by step video.
I hope you’ll enjoy it. Thank you.
Hello Everyone! It’s Aga here and today I would like to share a card I created using a beautiful stamp set: Birch Land.
I love using non-holiday stamps to create non-traditional holiday cards, it’s a great way to stretch the versatility of any stamp set! For today’s card, I wanted to create something that would be perfect to send this Easter season. I used lovely images from Birch Land to create my fresh and springy background with orange birds and green branches.
I inked up the leaves with two shades of green (Frayed Leaf and Evergreen) to give them some colour variation. I used an orange colour for my birds and markers to colour them in. For my sentiment, I picked “Sending Our Love” stamp from Baby Zoo set. It was stamped on a strip of white card stock using Evergreen ink and adhered with foam squares for dimension.
Thank you for stopping by today! Wish you all have a wonderful rest of the weekend and a very Happy Easter to those who celebrate it!
The idea was to create a pack of cards using the same recipe for all of them. Here it is : animal print washi tape, soft light ink colors for the main image, lot of tiny stars and a sentiment.
I used all this “ingredients” changing only colors and animals. This tip is very useful if you need to create a few different cards in a short time.
These cards turns out almost monochromatic and I love the result: they look very tender and calm.
Tiny stars have their own story and can be gathered all together :)
Hope you enjoyed today’s post! May be you have your own useful recipes for quick cards? We would love to hear about them!
Have a great day!
Hello! Anna is here and I want to share with you my last project where I used only carstock, inks and Baby Zoo set. Recently I found out that one amazing girl I know currently awaits a little baby, and I could not pass up, and made a small gift to the future parents. But I could not just give it! It was decided to do handmade packaging.
From white heavy cardstock I made a box – stamped some animals, stars and sentiments from the stamp set. When you create such boxes, be sure that the area of the cover bottom is larger than the lower part of the box, and also the cover bumpers must be lower than the bottom of the box. So your box will closeeasily.
I tied a box with the white ribbon and added a cute tag, one tag is also hidden inside of the package.
Baby suit is wrapped in wax paper, which remains after shopping in scrapbook stores. On this wax paper, I also made prints of animals.
And a small surprise on the bottom of the box – simling giraffe to make you smile too.
And you can also watch this short trailer about creation process. Have fun!
Hello Everyone! It’s Aga here, and today I’m sharing a simple, one layer card using the Doodle Blossom set.
First I stamped the “thank you” sentiment from the Baby Zoo set. I love this font and I think it looks great together with the doodle images. Next I created a flower wreath by stamping flowers and leaves around my sentiment. And as a final touch, I coloured the images with markers in bright colours.
Thank you for stopping by today!
Hello, it’s Marika here. Today I’m featuring Fresh Freesia set with bright and fresh colours. I used a couple of masking techniques to create this bouquet of flowers. I used copic markers with no-line colouring technique to colour freesias with layers. Sentiments are a mix from Baby Zoo and Painted Poppy set. Here is my simple card for today:
Copic colours used: Y13 – Y15 – YG11 – YG03 and YG67.
I made video tutorial and this time I tried to explain my colouring methods more and I also shared some thoughts what I’ve noticed while experimenting with colouring with copics. Hopefully you find them helpful. You can watch it here or in HD in YouTube.
Thank you for stopping by today. I love to read your comments and I try to reply to everyone. Your kind encouragement and support makes my day every time. Thank you so much.
Hi all! It’s Deasy here. Today I want to share my night scene card with 3 amazing animals.
I stamp the images and cut it manually. I used dye ink and silver embossing powder on white card stock for the moon. The sentiment used white embossing powder on black card stock.
I made the background on dark blue card stock. First, I add black dye ink with blending tool to make the gradation. Then I splash white watercolor with my brush. To make the moon shine, I used shimmer chalks.
Thank you so much for stopping by and Happy Stamping : )
