I took a piece of Classic Crest Solar White cardstock and started with background: using Versamark ink and clear embossing powder I stamped box, lolly-pops and cake images all over the card. Then I started ink blending, using distress ink and blending tool. It’s a pure magic when you begin blending and images start to pop-up from the paper with each move becoming more bold and bright. I decided to make an ombre look so used darker colors only at the top. Using Tim Holtz Sprayer I added little splashes.
I also blended a little strip to use for a sentiment and white embossed “happy birthday” from Painted Greetings Stamp Set. I put a black and white macaroon image on a white strip and it reminds me of a curtain. Little sparkles of clear sequins make the whole card look so fresh!
Thanks for joining me today!
Hello Everyone! It’s Aga here today and I would like to share a simply card I created using a stamp from Celebrations Stamp Set. It’s a gorgeous whimsical set and I wanted to create something to stretch the versatility of it. So, I used a flower bunch stamp to create a pattern, because you don’t always have to use stamps in the obvious way, right?
I stamped my images with black ink and used Altenew Artist Markers to do the colouring. For the sentiment, I stamped it with black ink on a piece of white cardstock, matted with black cardstock and adhereed with 3D foam squares for some dimension. That’s it! I think it took me less than 15 minutes to make! Perfect if you need a last minute card!
Thank you for stopping by today! Have a great weekend!
I always find it’s good to have a stash of general birthday and congrats cards on hand and if there’s one set that can cater for them all, it’s the Celebrations stamp set. I love that there’s now co-ordinating dies available for the stamp set – it makes whipping up cards like this a breeze! I added texture to the card front by stamping the woodgrain pattern from the Wood Pallet Background stamp set with the new Lagoon ink. :)
Die-cutting around this stylish bouquet was easy-peasy with the new dies. I purposely wanted it to overhang the right side of the vertical panel and decided to balance this with a strip of the new Silver Glitter Tape on the left side of the panel (I seriously LOVE this stuff!)
Well that’s all from me today, I hope today’s card adds a burst of colour and happiness to your weekend! :)
A coffee and a dessert are perfect for boosting my mood, plus I love taking some pictures of them. To scrap it, I used the Celebrations and Label Love Stamp Sets. I know the Celebrations stamp set is perfect for wedding themed projects. But some icons like macaroon and dessert sets also can be perfect embellishments for my dessert layout.
I used the Cotton Candy and Moon Rock Inks to stamp my images and I placed them near my photo. I used foam tapes to give dimensions and shadows. I also stamped “happiness” near them to fill in the gap.
To make another side full, I adhered chipboards and buttons. It will balance your layout. A small title for your dessert page is good! You also can mix the label with another alpha. Two different alphas into one layout, why not?!
Hi Altenew fans! I hope you are having a lovely day. Today I will show you a pretty layout made with the new Celebrations Stamp Set. For long time I wanted to document this photo of a bouquet of tulips. I bought them for my Mom for Mother’s Day, but I couldn’t give it to her as we were very far away from each other. Because of this, I took few nice photos of it and send them to her. I kept the flowers for myself. After this short story you know, this photo is something special for me. What is more, it also remands me of gifts and surprises. I love them! I thought, the Celebrations Stamp Set would perfectly fit to my theme.
First I made the base of my page from a pink cardstock, a patterned paper and Woodgrain White sheet. I also added extra texture with machine stitching.
Then I made my die cuts. I stamped the Celebrations shapes on a plain white cardstock with Cotton Candy Crisp Dye Ink and then I fussy cut them. I used the “happiness is coming your way” sentiment from the same stamp set, but this time I used Moon Rock Crisp Dye Ink. When I placed everything I adhered cute bits and pieces and the layout was done.
I hope I could inspire you to use or purchase the lovely Celebrations Stamp Set. It is worth to have it as you can use them for many themes (for example: birthday, baby shower, anniversary party etc.).
Thanks for stopping by today.
