Hello it’s Debby here. Gosh I can’t believe we are almost at the end of the year already! For today’s card I’m using the Golden Garden set. I fell in love with the this gorgeous set a while back after seeing this card by Marika where she colored the set with beautiful blueberries. For my winter berries version today I’m going for a red and green Holiday feel.
I stamped the Golden Garden images twice with black ink on grey card and cut out with their matching dies. With a bundle on die cuts on my desk I colored the images with Faber Castell pencils and accented with white and glitter pens. I also stamped the leaf fronds from Floral Frame with embossing ink and white heat embossed before cutting out with the Floral Frame dies. I love how the fronds nestle around the berries and the white embossing brightens everything up a little.
On a grey panel I white heat embossed a sentiment form Holiday Wishes and splattered the panel with white gouache. I gathered the die cuts together and adhered with foam adhesive. I then accented with a twine bow and a few clear sequins. Finally I mounted the finished panel on a white card base.
I hope you have a great day. If you are celebrating, I wish you the happiest of Holidays and a creative start to 2017!
Hi there everyone. It has been a while since I have posted something for Altenew. My computer has given me nothing but trouble but I’m back. Today I’ll be sharing a whimsical layout with you where I created a fun subtle border using the Golden Garden Stamp Set and two crisp inks: Mountain Mist and Lagoon.
I first stamped the lighter color around the bottom and top borders and then I added some details with a darker color. I choose some fine leaves for the design.
You can see the full process just below or in HD on YouTube HERE.
Here are some close-ups.
I really love the look of the stamped images. It defines the layout and adds detail without it being too overpowering.
I hope you enjoy the video and if you have any questions or if you’d like to see me use a certain technique or product, just pop that in the comments section.
Have a wonderful day.
Hello there. It’s Lilith with a new layout using the Golden Garden Stamp set. Today I’ll be sharing my creative process of making a project for Altenew. You’ll get to see a bit more of me than my hands.
The Golden Garden stamp set was my starting point. Once I had rummaged through my stash and picked the papers and embellishments I set to work. I love the look of this set as it suits the whimsical feel of the layout.
Here is the video to go with it. Please excuse my funny faces. I am very expressive and my facial expressions are all over the place.
It has been a while since I played with paints and I really wanted to add some splatters. I’m so glad I did because I love the way they look. I used to use this technique a lot a couple of years ago but as time went by I stopped.
The inks I picked out for this layout were based on the patterned papers I had chosen and I love that I can always find the exact colour I need in the Altenew Inks.
You can also get the Red Cosmos ink set with 4 inks in it including Frosty Pink and Coral Berry
Have a wonderful day and happy scrapping.
Hello crafty friends, happy Sunday! It’s Yoonsun here to share my watercoloured flower card with so beautiful Golden Garden stamp set.
To create the card, I 1) Stamped the flowers from the Golden Garden set at the top half of watercolour paper panel using VersaMark embossing ink, then heat embossed in white. 2) Watercoloured them with soft colours of Distress inks: Squeezed Lemonade, Tattered Rose, Victorian Velvet, Worn Lipstick, and Cracked Pistachio. 3) Added some white ink splatters for a more subtle look. 4) Stamped the sentiment & butterfly from the Painted Butterflies set on the panel using Jet Black dye ink. 5) Mounted the panel on an A2 sized white card base using dimensional foam tape.
Whenever I make cards with the Altenew flower stamp sets, I feel like I become an artist, haha! Oh, and the Golden Garden is definitely my all-time favorite set :D
That’s it for today. Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a fabulous weekend!

First, I stamp the flowers and the leaves with black ink and coloring it using water color. After it dry, I splash green watercolor and add white watercolor for the highlight shading. The sentiment using white embossing powder on black card stock.
