Hello, friends! We are excited to be introducing our video guest designer for July – Justine Hovey! Justine is amazing at creating clean and simple cards and you will be inspired by her approach in this. Please join me in welcoming her for this month’s video guest feature!
She will be start by sharing a little bit about her, for those who never met her:
“Hello! I’m Justine. I have been blogging for about 5 years and crafting even longer than that. I first fell in love with stamping when I discovered Scrapbooking but I pretty much create cards exclusively now. I am originally from Canada but have been living in various places in Europe over the last three years. If I’m not in my craftroom you can find me reading or wandering the streets of Edinburgh.”
“I’m bringing you a fun video tutorial today on the Altenew channel. I am so excited to be guest designing for Altenew this month – I couldn’t believe it when I was asked! I had so much fun playing with the stamps and creating many cards before finally settling on this one. I really wanted to create something that anyone can do regardless of artistic ability. That is typically my style when creating projects.”
“I just love creating pretty clusters of stamps and masking is a whole lot of fun when you have some time in the craftroom and a little patience. The results can be really stunning.”
Wondering what supplies she used? Here are the supplies used on this card:
- Striped Florals Stamp Set
- Penned Rose Stamp Set
- Fiskars Stamp Press
- Neenah Cardstock
- Black Cardstock
- Masking Sheet
- Versafine Onyx Black Ink
- Versamark Watermark Ink
- White Embossing Powder
- Foam Tape
