VIDEO: Colorful Background Using Stencils

by Laura

Altenew-Cube Builder & Grid StencilHi there! Laura here and today I’ll be showing you how to create colorful background using stencils. I have a couple of colorful projects to share featuring the Grid & Cube Builder Stencils. These gorgeous new stencils make creating colorful backgrounds so effortless!

Altenew-Cube Builder Stencil & Simple FlowersThis first project showcases the Cube Builder Stencil. I’m in love with this stencil! The results are amazing and yet it is so easy to create. I used several Altenew inks to make a rainbow pattern.

Altenew-Cube Builder Stencil & Simple FlowersThe sentiments are from the Simple Flowers stamp set.

Altenew-Grid Stencil & Baby ZooThis next project uses the Grid Stencil along with the Baby Zoo stamp set. For the Grid background I blended in Midnight Violet, Sapphire, Persian Blue, Caribbean Sky & Arctic.

Altenew-Grid Stencil & Baby Zoo Here’s a video to show you how I created these cards.

That’s all for today! Thanks so much for stopping by!

The Cube Builder stencil reminds me of Qwerty, a video game I played when I was a kid! It was one of my favorite games! LOL My order arrived yesterday with the Cube stencil and I just had to play with it! Totally awesome!
Love both of these magnificent cards. The bright colors on the Cube card really showcases how awesome this stencil is and the critters on the blue card are adorable! TFS!
