Hello there everyone! I hope you are all well.
Erum here today and I have three cards to share with you featuring the Engraved Flowers Stamp Set.I also have a process video where I show you how to make all the three cards. You can scroll down to the end of this post to view it. Let’s begin with the first card which is super simple but so striking!
When I first stamped the Engraved Flowers Stamp Set, I was awed by the fine, crisp, and clean lines so I decided to leave the stamps as is. I stamped a bunch of images and die cut them with the coordinating dies.
For the sentiment, I die cut the word “Hugs” using Fine Alphabet Die Set in pink. I stacked these letters up to make them chipboard-like. Then I inked the top half of the letters with Razzleberry Dye Ink. Next, I adhered the letters on my card front.
For the second card, I heat embossed the images with the Antique Gold Embossing Powder and watercolored them with the Watercolor Brush Markers.
As you can see, I altered the stamped images a bit by cutting them up and arranging them differently. I used a mix of Rubellite and Midnight Violet Watercolor Brush Markers for the pink flower. For the orange flower, I used Warm Sunshine and Autumn Blaze Watercolor Brush Markers. The leaves were done in Limeade, Moss, and a bit of Emerald.
To make my card front, I cut out a panel and started adding vertical brush strokes to it with the help of Evening Gray Watercolor Brush Marker. Next, I spritz this panel with water and let the color spread on its own. Once dry, I added black paint splatters and started to arrange the images.
After this, I started coloring the flower with the Red Sunset Artist Markers starting from the darkest to the lightest. For the leaves, I used the Green Fields Artist Markers. I chose Warm Sunshine and Buttercream Artist Markers for my background. To create the background, I added color in horizontal lines.
Next, I colored in the border I drew with Jet Black Artist Marker. I also added a faux shadow with Evening Gray and Morning Frost Artist Markers. Finally, I stamped the sentiment and adhered some clear drops.
That is all for today! I hope you liked all the cards. I had fun making them. You can watch the video below or on YouTube.
