Hi there everyone!

Erum here today with a quick video tutorial using the very handy Sunlit Flower Card Making Kit.

Altenew Sunlit Flower Card Making Kit | Erum Tasneem | @pr0digy0To begin, I stamped the images on Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock with Permanent Black Ink. Next, I used the Artist Markers in Mango Smoothie and Cotton Candy to color the flowers.

Secondly, I added a layer of Cotton Candy Artist Marker in the same flicking motion. Since I am only using the marker colors that came with the kit, I then used the Colorless Blender to soften the tips of the petals. As a result, the petals have a more finished look now. In case you want to see for yourself, you can watch the video at the end of this post and you will notice the difference in the result.

Next, I fussy cut the images and set them aside. I took out a pre-scored note card from the Sunlit Flower Card Making Kit and folded it in half; this will be my card front. I added a few black paint splatters on the front using the Watercolor 36 Pan Set. Next, I adhered the flowers with foam tape and used hot glue to adhere the leaves.

I stamped one flower and the leafy sprig a few times just on one corner of the envelope. Then, I colored it in the same manner as I colored the images on the card.
