Hi there! Erum here today with a floral card to share featuring the Perfectly Perfect and Flower Vine Stamp Sets.
I am using the Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock since I will be coloring with Artist Markers. To start, I stamped and masked the flowers from the Perfectly Perfect Stamp Set and at the very end, stamped the image from Flower Vine Stamp Set. Doing so will result in parts of Flower Vine Stamp Set peeking through from behind the Perfectly Perfect stamped images. In turn, the final result will look like it was one stamp!
To color the flowers, I used the Warm and Cozy Artist Markers from Set E. In addition to this, I also used Buttercream from Summer Afternoon Set. I was aiming for a yellow tint on my petals hence the use of Buttercream Artist Marker.
To color the leaves, I used the Tropical Forest Set of Artist Markers. These markers are also part of the Set E. And, to color the smaller flowers on the vine, I used various shades of orange, Buttercream and also added hints of Warm Sunshine Artist Marker.
Next, I used the Watercolor 36 Pan Set to add a bit of watercolor to the background. This will increase the faux depth and show more dimension. I used a mix of greens but mainly I used the Forest Glades Watercolor and a little bit of Evergreen. Since I used Artist Markers and Permanent Black Ink for my image, the color won’t react and will not make any difference if I go over the stamped image. This is very helpful if you want to make a quick background. In addition to the watercolor, I also used the greys from Artist Markers Set E to add more shadows to the images.
To finish off, I added a few black paint splatters and stamped the sentiment.
