Hello everyone! Lydia here!!! Today I will be sharing how you can stretch your supplies by using dies to work as a subtle background as well as a bold focal point.

To start, I cut lots of beautiful roses from white cardstock using the Rose Filament Die Set. I just love this die set and it can be used in lots of different ways! Once I had lots of beautiful white die-cut roses, I then ran these through my little sticker maker which adds adhesive to one side of the die-cut, you don’t have to use one of these as glue tape would work just as well. I then added these die-cuts to a white card layer before adhering this to my card base.

Next, I cut one of the larger flowers again, this time keeping all of the landlocked areas. I colored the outline die-cut using Jet Black Artist Marker and stuck this to a piece of white cardstock. I then used Artist Markers to color the landlocked pieces before adhering these back into place into the black outline die-cut. I used Frosty Pink and Coral Berry Markers to color the pink flower, Ocean Waves and Desert Night Markers to color the blue flower and Frayed Leaf and Forest Glades Markers to color the leaves. Once these were all complete I then fussy cut these out.

To finish the cards, I adhered the colored die-cut into place using foam tape and added a sentiment from Circled Sentiments Stamp Set.
