Hello everyone! Sveta is here and I’m going to share with you three cards I made with Hello Winter Stamp Set. I’m also going to share one trick I use to get more from my inks.
The first card is inspired by the magical view outside the window. I love autumn colors and that calm, cozy mood… First, I stamped the square background image with circles three times, each time using a new color and place. I used Marigold, Hazelnut, Snapdragon, and Vanilla Cream inks. To make the other colors darker, I used Hazelnut Ink again. I like such little background stamps as you can use them to create a big background along with the little one for a focal point. Over it, you can use an outline image and/or a sentiment. The Winter Wishes Stamp Set was a perfect match for my background (I stamped only a part of the trees excluding the house).
The second card is made using the big Winter sentiment along with the coordinating Hello Winter Die Set. Using the last layer, I made a window on the inner part of the card where I stamped the sentiment. Next, I adhered sequins on the front panel to imitate “snow”. Pale Gray Cardstock looks great as a background.
The third card is also an only “sentiment” card. I created a gradient sentiment background. I used Iceberg, Eastern Sky, Silver Lake, and Gray Denim Inks. That is the trick! I used gray tones to create new darker shades of blue, mixing them together. If you need some more colors – use a gray ink to achieve new shades. In the center, I stamped the sentiment with Permanent Black Ink to finalize the card. These cards are what came into my imagination using this set. It would be very interesting to see what you will come up with the Hello Winter Stamp Set. Hope you got inspired!
