5 Must-Watch Crafting Video Tutorial Series

Hello, Altenew friends! It’s been a couple of months since we’ve launched our amazing Video Inspiration Team! Comment below if you have been consistently watching all 5 video tutorial series every week! In case you’ve missed out on some of them, here’s a quick recap filled with lots of beautiful inspiration. First up is Lovely Layering with Ashlea!

This series aims to help you build confidence in your ability to create beautiful cards, simply. It is a must-watch for every level card-maker/paper crafter! Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned crafter, you’ll enjoy learning tips on creating interest and dimension within your designs as well as perfecting and elevating your layered stamping. 

In case you missed it, Ashlea Cornell kicked off the very first installment of Lovely Layering with Ashlea by revisiting the basics of layered stamping and sharing some tips on how to create dimension and interest on a card front. Watch it here.

Next up is Perfect Pairings with Jaycee!

You asked for it and we heard you! This series aims to inspire you to revive your stash, or find new favorites in older Altenew releases! In every how-to video, Jaycee uses one NEW Altenew item from the current month’s release and pair the product with an OLD Altenew item from the previous month or older. 

In the first installment of this video series, Jaycee grabbed the Delicate Tiles Stamp Set from our October 2019 Stamp/Die/Stencil release and paired it with an old favorite of his – Succulents Stamp Set. In this video, you will see marker coloring, color layering, and embellishments. Watch it HERE!

The next episode of this video series features two of Altenew’s most popular floral layering stamp sets – Grateful Heart and Beautiful Day! Want to know how Jaycee created this beauty? Watch the video HERE.

How mind-blowing is that card?! This time, Jaycee paired the Poppy Garden Stamp Set from the November 2019 Release and his all-time fave Altenew stamp set – To the Moon. Here, he did some alcohol marker coloring, ink blending, and floral composition. Check out how he created this stunner HERE.

In the latest installment of Perfect Pairings with Jaycee, he paired the new Stone Mosaic Stamp Set from the Altenew November 2019 release with an old favorite of his – Tea Time Stamp Set!

Lydia’s Crafty Corner

We know how much you’ve been loving our very first video series – Lydia’s Crafty Corner! This series aims to help you stretch your supplies and use them in unconventional ways, as well as practice various cardmaking techniques. Here are a few card designs to inspire you!

Hi I do not watch all of them but I never miss Perfect Pairings with Jaycee, Lydia crafty corner or take two with Therese. Each of these designers are very innovative.

Ashlea is the only one I am not familiar with. I love the inspiration I get to see from these talented designers. I have made several cards just this week using the metalic watercolor with stencil technique. Therese and Jaycee have also taught me new ways to use great Alrenew products.
